PHYSICAL THERAPY

Q: Do I need a prescription for Therapy?
A: No, NYS Direct Access Law allows patients to come to therapy without a prescription for 30 days or 10 visits prior to seeing a physician. Some insurance plans require pre-authorization for an initial evaluation, in these instances you would have to consult your primary care physician prior to attending your initial visit. Medicare patients can be evaluated without a prescription but then need certification from their physician prior to being treated.

Q: Is PT covered by insurance?
A: Yes, most insurance plans cover physical therapy. Patients are usually only responsible for a co-payment at the time of each visit.

Q: How long is a physical therapy session?
A: Most sessions are between 45 and 60 minutes. Your initial evaluation is usually 60 minutes and follow up visits will range in time depending on the extent of the injury.

Q: What insurance plans to does Greco PT accept?
A: Greco PT accepts most insurance plans. Please see a complete list of plans that we are participating providers. That list can be found on our Patient info page.

Q: Is there a limit on the number of Physical Therapy visits?
A: Each insurance plan has different rules and regulation. Some insurance plans require authorization for physical therapy. Some plans have a maximum amount of visits in one year that a patient is able to use. Check with your insurance company and our office staff.

Q: What should I wear to Physical Therapy?
A: Patient should wear comfortable clothing that allows for your injured area to be treated. If you have a lower extremity injury you should bring a pair of shorts.

Q: Will I be able to do any of my physical therapy on my own while at home?
A: Yes, each patient is given an individualized Home Exercise Program to perform when they are not at therapy.

Q: Are Meilus treatments covered by insurance?
A: No insurance company currently covers Meilus muscular therapy treatments.

Q: Does Meilus Muscular Therapy hurt?
A: No, the pressure applied by the robotic arm is set to the patient's tolerance and there is no pain.

Q: How long is a Meilus Muscular Therapy Session?
A: Sessions usually last approximately 60 minutes

Q: What muscles/body parts can be treated with Meilus Muscular Therapy?
A: Most muscles can be treated.

1st TEE GOLF FITNESS

Q: How long is a golf assessment/evaluation?
A: A typical TPI assessment will take approximately 45–60 minutes.

Q: Is golf fitness covered by insurance?
A: No. Insurance companies do not cover golf fitness session or classes

Q: How will golf fitness improve my game?
A: Golf-specific exercises will improve your physical ability to play golf. You will gain flexibility and core strength. You will improve your endurance, balance, posture, and power in a sequence that will allow you to hit the ball farther without sacrificing accuracy and consistency. Your body will "hold up" better throughout a round of golf improving your scoring and limiting your injuries.

Q: Do I need to take lessons if I am participating in a golf fitness program.
A: It is highly recommended that you take lessons with PGA or LPGA golf professional while you are participating in our golf fitness programs or classes. WE DO NOT TEACH THE GOLF SWING. We simply help you improve your ability to take safe and repeatable golf swing. Your body WILL change with our programs and you will need to have your professional continue to work with you throughout the process. This combination of golf-specific fitness and professional instruction is the fastest way to better scores and a safe, repeatable golf swing.

Q: If I do not have a golf professional can you suggest any?
A: We work closely with many golf professionals. They work with Men, Women and Junior golfers. We would be happy to help you find a professional that fits your needs.

Q: Are the golf fitness sessions one-on-one?
A: Golf fitness sessions can be either one on one or in a group of two to three people.

Q: What do golf fitness classes focus on?
A: Endurance, Balance, Posture, Flexibility, Core Strength and Power.

Q: Will I have golf exercises to do on my own?
A: Yes, each person that we assess is given a golf fitness program that can be accessed on-line at the TPI website. The website has videos describing each exercise and outlines your repetitions and sets so that you are performing your exercises properly.

Q: How many people are in the golf fitness classes?
A: The class sizes are limited to 6-8 People.

HIGH DEFINITION GOLF SIMULATOR

Q: How long does it take to play a round of golf?
A: It typically takes about 30 minutes per person to play for nine holes. This includes a quick warm up and set up. For example, It would take two golfers would one hour to play nine holes and two hours to play 18 holes. If you have four golfers the time will double. (two hours for nine holes and four hours for 18).

Q: Do I have to play a round of golf when using the simulator. Can I just practice?
A: No, you don't have to play nine or 18 holes. HD Golf™ simulators are loaded with practice ranges including: target ranges with selectable distances, chipping and putting greens. Drivers, fairway woods, utility clubs, long and short irons, wedges and putters can all be tested with confidence in the golf simulator environment. You can also have longest drive contests and closest to the pin contests on some of the world's greatest Par three's.

Q: How does Golfing on the simulator compare to golfing on the course?
A: In addition to pioneering computer vision technology for ball and club tracking in the golf simulator, Interactive Sports Technologies also developed a new method of 3D modeling for their simulators. This revolutionary process combines high resolution digital images, satellite data and geophysical data into 3D models of golf courses that not only look real — they are completely accurate everywhere on the course. Q: Does the rate go up if you have more people?
A: No the rate includes four players. Our simulator room can comfortably fit four people. Just remember that it takes approximately two hours for four payers to complete nine holes and four hours to play 18, should you choose to do that, please book enough time. If you would like to have more than four people playing you need to get prior approval from our staff.

Q: How do I reserve time on the simulator?
A: There are two options available to reserve time. You can go to our website, www.grecopt.com and book a time on our Golf Simulator page. The second option is to call or come into our facility and reserve the time with one of our staff members. A credit card is required to reserve your time and cancellation fees will apply if your time is not kept. (Please see our cancellation policy below).

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Due to our limited capacity and an increase in demand for our services we have implemented a 24-hour cancellation and no-show policy.

• Cancellation or rescheduling 24-hours or more before the tee time will incur no cancellation fee.

• Cancellation or rescheduling less than 24-hours before the tee time will incur a 50% cancellation fee for the total amount of the reservation. Gift certificates and coupons will have commensurate amounts applied to them.

• Cancellation or rescheduling less than two hours before a tee time will be considered a no-show and subject to being charged the full amount of the reservation.

A credit card will be required to reserve all tee times (cash or gift-certificate/voucher payments may still be used after the round). Cancellation, rescheduling and no-show fees will be applied automatically to your credit card.
